Merced is less than two hours by car from Yosemite National Park to the east and to the west is picturesque Monterey Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and miles of fabulous beaches. The community is served by rail passenger service, a major airline, and two bus lines. Fishing and water sports enthusiasts find many opportunities close at hand, with several streams and lakes within easy driving distance.

Presently, the museum has 44 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Era aircraft on display. Rare aircraft such as the SR-71, B-24 and B-36, all restored and maintained by our devoted volunteer staff. |
