North Star at Tahoe

Northstar at Tahoe is a great resort that's about to get even better. A focal point to this mountain renaissance will be a new ski-in, ski-out village planned for the base of the slopes, offering luxurious condominiums at a natural center point of activity. Featuring a traditional outdoor ice rink, Northstar Village will be vibrant and alive with distinctive shops and restaurants that will attract an assortment of visitors.
While this village helps complete the vision at Northstar, it also helps launch a new vision for Tahoe Mountain Resorts, soon-to-be North America's finest four-season resort experience.
Getting to Northstar is easy! Take a shuttle from Reno or South Lake Tahoe, or drive your own car. If you're coming from out of town, Northstar is accessible by any of four major airports.
Northstar Lodging
Northstar-at-Tahoe offers a wide variety of on-site lodging options for a great summer getaway. We have hotel-style rooms in our village to 4 bedroom condominiums throughout our resort. We have something for every budget. We also offer houses for that perfect family retreat. One free 1/2 day of child care included per unit per stay (two night minimum). All of our guests have access to the Northstar Recreation Center.

Golf
Northstar's Front Nine & Driving Range are scheduled to open May 10. The Back Nine will open soon afterThe brilliance of spring, the warmth of summer and the tranquility of autumn make the Northstar golf experience memorable. Spectacular mountain vistas and broad high-country meadows complement Northstar's par-72, 18-hole golf course.
Mountain Biking
Northstar-at-Tahoe has a heaping helping of mountain bike trails. More than 100 miles, in fact, making it Northern California's largest mountain bike park, with the most lift service in the state. Really, it's okay to take the chairlift. No one will think you're a wimp.
Northstar's Mountain Bike park is scheduled to open June 20th and will run until Mid-October.

Chairlift Rides
New this summer, guests can hop on the high-speed Village Express and Vista Express chairlifts for a scenic ride to the top of the mountain. Once you reach the top, the sky's the limit! Whether you are looking for the perfect view of Lake Tahoe, a picturesque picnic spot, local wildlife or some of the native flora and fauna, you will find it here.

From the Bay
Go East on Interstate 80 for roughly 3 hours. (184 miles) Take Highway 267 Exit. This is the new by-pass route. It is just after the last Truckee Exit. Travel South on Highway 267 for approx. 8 miles. Turn Right onto Northstar Dr.
From Reno
Go West on Interstate 80 for roughly 30 minutes (30 miles) Take Highway 267 Exit. Roughly 1/4 mile BEFORE Truckee. Travel South on Highway 267 for approx 8 miles. Turn Right onto Northstar Dr.
From South Lake Tahoe via East Shore
Start out going East on Lake Tahoe Blvd/Highway 50 for approx. 12 miles Turn LEFT onto Nevda 28 towards Incline Village. Continue for 17 miles. Turn Right onto Highway 267. Continue for 6 miles. Turn Left onto Northstar Dr.
From South Lake Tahoe Via West Shore
Travel West on Highway 50 Merge on Highway 89 North Take Right in Tahoe City at T Turn Left onto Highway 267 Turn Left onto Northstar Dr. |
