Events
The Wine Train hosts a variety of special events throughout the year ranging from special wine pairing options, to Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. Due to the limited seating, most of our special events use "fill in" seating which means guests are seated with other parties for the event. Private tables are available for parties of four, or multiples of four.
Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre features an 'interactive' four act drama and complete four course gourmet dinner aboard the lavishly restored 1915 Pullman dining and lounge cars. Professional Actors, attired in 1915 era costumes, mingle with guests throughout the Dinner and Lounge Car meal service, engaging in lively conversation whilst subtly imparting clues to help solve the mystery. Guests join in and share ideas... and an informal 'who dun nit' winner emerges!

Vintner's Lunch
Ever popular... and often first to sell out... this weekly gourmet dining experience features a special Guest Vintner, Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald and Wine Director Ryan Graham as they join forces to plan a diverse four course gourmet lunch. Each month, the menu is specially developed to complement the day's wines choices. Our Guest Vintner will share insights, answer questions and be at your disposal for this three-hour journey. Enjoy the exceptional view of the valley from the elevated Vista Dome Car during your afternoon of culinary adventure. Chef Kelly and Ryan will be on board throughout the event to explain the pairings and answer any questions.
