Location
The Motel Capri is located on a quiet, residential street in the heart of the exciting Marina District. Within a few short blocks, you can find dozens of shops, specialty boutiques, and restaurants ranging from haute cuisine to some of the best neighborhood 'joints' in town. The Marina District can provide you with the perfect San Francisco experience – just steps from our door.
Two blocks to the south, you'll find Union Street, arguably one of the best streets in the city for shopping and window-shopping. A few blocks to the north is Chestnut Street which boasts an incredible variety of high-quality restaurants as well as some fine examples of the art-deco architecture that characterizes the area. Continuing north, you'll reach Marina Boulevard where you can catch a remarkable view of the Golden Gate Bridge, which is only 1.5 miles away.
The Marina District is also home to the Marina Green, the Fort Mason Center, the Presidio, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium and Crissy Field.
