Cafe Gibraltar
Serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine since 1998, Cafe Gibraltar offers an award-winning menu served in a unique setting with a spectacular ocean view. Cafe Gibraltar is proud to use only organic free-range meat and fowl, organic produce and flour, and only the freshest seafood.
The Zagat Guide recently awarded Cafe Gibraltar 26 points for food -- the highest rating for any restaurant on the San Mateo County coast -- and has listed Cafe Gibraltar among the top ten restaurants featured in the guide!
Fodor's has also just rated Cafe Gibraltar as the best restaurant on the San Mateo County coast. In fact, it is the only "Fodor's Choice" restaurant on the coast!
Cafe Gibraltar has been selected by Wine Enthusiast Magazine to receive their Award of Distinction for 2007. This award recognizes Cafe Gibraltar as one of the nation's most wine-friendly restaurants! - We are offering our special cooking classes with Jose Luis one Monday night per month at 6:30. Each class features an evening of instruction, dining and wine pairing, and includes printed recipes to take home. The cost is $75 per person, and each class is limited to 30 people.

Directions
Cafe Gibraltar is at the corner of Palma and Avenue Alhambra. Parking is available on the street or in the parking lot behind the restaurant (north of the building).
From San Francisco:
Take Highway 1 south, continue 10 miles past Pacifica to El Granada. At the first stop light, Avenue Alhambra, make a left, then an immediate right at the stop sign. Continue for four blocks, and Cafe Gibraltar is on the left side of the street.
From Half Moon Bay:
Go north on Highway 1 about 5 miles to the stoplight at Avenue Alhambra. Turn right, then another immediate right at the stop sign. Continue for four blocks, and Cafe Gibraltar is on the left side of the street. |
